The Nitro Elevator Jig Heads were originally developed by Mark ‘The Captain’ Phillips whilst targeting Snapper and Kingfish in New Zealand.
The idea was to get Berkley Gulp! Jerkshads down deep quickly, while still maintaning that deadly fluttering, wounded baitfish action.
The parallels are obvious here in Australia, Snapper, Kingfish, Cobia, reefies anything that hangs in deep water and eats baitfish will find this innovative set up hard to resist. Used in conjunction with Berkley Nitro Elevator hooks and Berkley Gulp! these are deadly tools when you need to get a softbait down deep quickly.
